Hello everybody reading this. I’m going to be honest here, it feels really odd to be blogging about something that hasn’t even started. I’m constantly fighting an odd mix of excitement and dread. Mostly excitement. It’s going to be hard to wait until January to go to South Korea. I’ve been watching every vlog and reading every blog post I can find about the Fulbright ETA orientation, and it’s only making me more excited.

I’m still waiting on all of the official paperwork, but I know that can sometimes wait a bit. At least it’s one other thing to distract me from having to wait until January to go to South Korea and start teaching.

I guess I decided to get started on this blog early just so that I get in the habit of writing. I want to blog bi-weekly (twice a month) while I’m in South Korea, and I figure a good way to get in that habit is to start early. You’ll have to bear with me as I figure out this whole blogging thing. 🙂

I think I’ll have to process the Fulbright Award later. I’m still having to finish up my MA thesis, and honestly that’s taking up a lot of my energy first.

Anyway, that’s it for now! A quick little post to get started.
